To become a lawyer (ugyved) in Hungary, first earn the five-year university law degree (jogasz). You then complete a supervised traineeship of roughly three years as an ugyvedjelolt at a firm or under a registered attorney. During or after this you must pass the national professional legal examination, the jogi szakvizsga, which tests the core branches of law and is taken in separate components. Once you pass and meet the integrity and EEA-citizenship requirements, you register with the Hungarian Bar Association (Magyar Ugyvedi Kamara) and are admitted to practise.
