DLA Piper Denmark on Rådhuspladsen in central Copenhagen is seeking an Advokat for its Life Sciences and Healthcare practice. Denmark is a global leader in pharmaceuticals and life sciences, home to Novo Nordisk, Lundbeck, LEO Pharma, and the Medicon Valley biotech cluster spanning Copenhagen and southern Sweden.

You will advise pharmaceutical companies, biotech startups, and medical device manufacturers on Danish and EU regulatory matters, leveraging DLA Piper's global life sciences network.

What You Will Do

• Advise on pharmaceutical regulation and Danish Medicines Agency (Lægemiddelstyrelsen) approvals
• Handle clinical trial agreements and GCP compliance under the EU Clinical Trials Regulation
• Advise on drug pricing and reimbursement under the Danish Health Act (Sundhedsloven) and Medicinrådet (Danish Medicines Council) processes
• Draft and negotiate licensing, co-development, and CDMO agreements
• Advise on life sciences M&A transactions and due diligence
• Handle GDPR/health data compliance and Datatilsynet matters

• Advise on pharmaceutical regulatory and commercial matters
• Draft and negotiate life sciences commercial agreements
• Handle regulatory submissions and compliance advisory
• Support life sciences M&A transactions
• Coordinate with DLA Piper's global life sciences network on cross-border matters

• Danish Bar admission (advokat) or senior advokatfuldmægtig
• Cand.jur. from a Danish university; LL.M. in Health Law or IP/Life Sciences preferred
• 3-7 years of experience in life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical law
• Knowledge of the Danish Medicines Act (Lægemiddelloven) and EU pharmaceutical regulation
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Experience advising pharma or biotech companies is a strong advantage
