Clifford Chance's Luxembourg office on Place de l'Europe in Kirchberg offers a 2-year avocat stagiaire position in its Banking and Finance practice. The firm's Luxembourg office is one of the most active in the market for acquisition finance, fund finance, and real estate finance transactions.

As an avocat stagiaire, you will assist on high-value finance transactions, draft Luxembourg law security documents, and gain exposure to one of Europe's leading banking and finance practices while completing your stage at the Barreau de Luxembourg.

What You Will Do

• Assist with drafting facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements
• Research Luxembourg law on financial collateral, pledges, and security interests
• Support capital call facility and NAV facility transactions for fund clients
• Assist with Luxembourg law legal opinions and closing procedures
• Draft legal memoranda on Luxembourg banking and finance law developments

• Support the banking and finance team on lending and security mandates
• Draft legal documents and conduct research
• Assist with closing procedures and condition precedent reviews
• Attend client meetings and training sessions
• Complete the mandatory 2-year stage at the Barreau de Luxembourg

• Master in Law from a recognised European university
• Registered or eligible as avocat stagiaire with the Barreau de Luxembourg
• Strong academic record with interest in banking, finance, or capital markets law
• Fluent in English and French
• Strong analytical and drafting skills
• Prior internship experience in banking/finance law is an advantage
