Internship Description
Eversheds Sutherland Bitans is offering a Data Protection Internship for law students with an interest in GDPR, privacy law, and digital regulation. Interns will support the data protection team on client advisory matters and compliance projects.
Responsibilities
Assist with GDPR compliance audits and gap analyses for clients. Help prepare data processing impact assessments and privacy notices. Research regulatory guidance from the Data State Inspectorate and EDPB. Support the team with data breach notification documentation and record keeping.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a law degree program at a Latvian or EU university. Interest in data protection and technology law. Familiarity with GDPR concepts is a plus. Fluent in Latvian and English.
