Internship Description
The Central Bank of Nigeria invites applications from qualified law graduates for the Graduate Trainee programme within the Legal Services Directorate. Trainees rotate across banking regulation, financial crimes enforcement, international economic relations and corporate affairs units over a 12-month structured programme.
Responsibilities
- Providing research support on banking regulation and monetary policy matters
- Assisting with review of regulatory compliance documentation
- Drafting memoranda on legal and regulatory issues
- Participating in the Graduate Trainee rotation programme across CBN departments
- Attending internal training and professional development programmes
Requirements
- LL.B (minimum Second Class Upper) and B.L. from the Nigerian Law School
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
- Not more than 26 years of age at the time of application
- Nigerian citizenship required
- Strong academic credentials and research skills
