International Tax Pupillage — Dr. K. Chrysostomides & Co LLC, Nicosia
Dr. K. Chrysostomides & Co LLC is offering a Pupillage in its International Tax & Structuring department in Nicosia. You will gain practical experience in tax structuring, treaty analysis, and compliance with the Income Tax Law and EU ATAD directives while completing your mandatory 12-month training for the Cyprus Bar.
This pupillage is ideal for graduates with an interest in international tax law and cross-border structuring at one of Cyprus's top-ranked tax practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist with tax opinion drafting and advance ruling applications under supervision
- Research double tax treaty provisions and their application to holding company structures
- Assist with ATAD compliance assessments including GAAR, CFC rules, and interest limitation rules
- Prepare tax structuring memoranda for client presentations
- Assist with CRS/FATCA reporting compliance for corporate and trust clients
- Research developments in OECD BEPS framework and EU tax harmonisation initiatives
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised university; LLM in Tax or International Law is an advantage
- Eligible to register as an Ασκούμενος with the Cyprus Bar Association
- Interest in international tax planning, double tax treaties, and EU tax law
- Understanding of the Income Tax Law, Special Defence Contribution, and OECD Model Tax Convention
- Fluent Greek and English; analytical and numerical skills
- Strong research and drafting abilities
