Internship — Employment & Labour Law

Penkov, Markov & Partners offers an internship in its Employment & Labour Law practice at the Plovdiv office for law students interested in workplace regulations, labor disputes, and HR legal advisory. Interns will assist experienced employment lawyers with research, document preparation, and client advisory support, gaining practical insight into one of Bulgaria's most active employment law practices.

Conducting legal research on employment law topics including termination, working time, and leave entitlements; Assisting with drafting employment contracts and internal company policies; Researching case law from Bulgarian courts on labor disputes; Assisting with preparation of documents for labour inspections; Monitoring legislative developments in employment and social security law; Preparing research memos and summaries for supervising lawyers; Attending client meetings and internal training sessions as an observer.

Currently enrolled in years III-V of a Law degree at a Bulgarian university; Interest in employment law, labor relations, or HR management; Basic knowledge of the Bulgarian Labour Code and Social Insurance Code; Academic grade average of minimum 4.50/6.00; Proficient in Bulgarian and English; Good communication and organizational skills; Available for minimum 15 hours per week for at least 2 months.
