Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on banking supervision and regulatory matters
  • Review and draft banking legislation, regulations and guidance notes
  • Handle enforcement proceedings against supervised institutions
  • Represent the Bank in legal and arbitration proceedings

Requirements

  • LLB; LLM in banking law is a distinct advantage
  • 3+ years in banking regulation or financial services law
  • Knowledge of the Banking Institutions Act and Payment System Management Act
