You will provide legal advice on Swiss banking regulation, anti-money laundering (AML) compliance under the GwG, and cross-border regulatory matters. The role offers exposure to one of the world's most complex financial regulatory environments and the opportunity to work at the heart of global wealth management.
What You Will Do
- Advise business units on FINMA regulatory requirements and banking license conditions
- Support AML/KYC compliance framework implementation
- Analyze regulatory developments including FINMA circulars and guidance
- Coordinate with external counsel on complex regulatory matters
- Support internal investigations and regulatory examinations
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day regulatory advice to business and compliance teams
- Monitor and analyze Swiss and international regulatory developments
- Draft and review internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Support responses to FINMA inquiries and supervisory reviews
- Collaborate with global legal teams across UBS offices
Requirements
- Swiss Anwaltspatent or equivalent legal qualification
- MLaw from a Swiss university
- 3-6 years of experience in banking regulation, compliance, or financial services law
- Strong knowledge of the BankG, GwG, FINMAG, and FINMA regulatory framework
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience in a law firm or financial institution's legal/compliance department
Compensation
CHF14,000 - CHF18,000/year
