Internship Description
Landsbankinn offers an internship in its legal department for law students interested in banking regulation, compliance, and financial services law. Interns gain exposure to the legal operations of Iceland's largest bank, working alongside experienced in-house lawyers.
Responsibilities
Research regulatory requirements and assist with compliance assessments. Support the drafting and review of loan documentation and internal policies. Assist with AML/KYC due diligence reviews. Attend internal legal department meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Cand.Jur. or LL.B. programme. Interest in banking, finance, or regulatory compliance. Good academic standing. Proficiency in Icelandic and English.
