Program Details
- Duration: 4-8 weeks (summer session preferred, flexible scheduling available)
- Compensation: Paid — government intern stipend per Public Service regulations
- Eligibility: 2nd or 3rd year 법학전문대학원 students interested in competition law and public policy
What You Will Do
- Assist KFTC investigators with research and analysis for cartel investigations and merger reviews
- Research comparative competition law developments in the EU, US, Japan, and other jurisdictions
- Draft policy memoranda on 독점규제 및 공정거래에 관한 법률 (MRFTA) reform proposals
- Attend KFTC Commissioners' meetings and observe administrative hearing procedures
- Support the International Cooperation Division on bilateral antitrust cooperation agreements
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Korean 법학전문대학원
- Coursework or strong interest in competition law, economic law, or regulatory policy
- English proficiency for international comparative research
- Korean citizenship required for government internship positions
