Ellex Raidla is offering a Legal Internship in our Corporate Practice group in Tallinn. This is a prestigious opportunity for law students to gain hands-on experience at Estonia's leading law firm, working alongside top corporate lawyers on cross-border transactions and Baltic M&A deals.
You will assist with due diligence, corporate research, and document drafting under the Aeriseadustik (Commercial Code). The internship provides exposure to high-profile transactions and a pathway to a Vandeadvokaadi abi (assistant lawyer) position upon graduation.
Responsibilities
Assist with due diligence reviews for M&A transactions. Research Estonian corporate law questions using Riigi Teataja (State Gazette) and legal databases. Draft corporate documents including board resolutions and shareholder minutes. Support senior lawyers with e-Business Register (Ariregister) filings. Prepare legal memoranda and research summaries for client matters.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in Oigusteaduse (law) at the University of Tartu, TalTech, or equivalent. Completed at least 4 semesters of legal studies. Strong academic record with focus on corporate or commercial law. Excellent research and writing skills. Fluent in Estonian and English.
Compensation
€1,000 - €1,400/year
