Bolt is looking for a Legal Intern to join our Data Protection team in Tallinn. You will gain experience in GDPR compliance, privacy program management, and data protection operations at one of Europe's most exciting tech companies.
The internship provides exposure to complex cross-border data protection challenges across Bolt's ride-hailing, food delivery, and mobility platforms operating in 45+ countries. You will work with the Isikuandmete kaitse seadus (Personal Data Protection Act) and GDPR in a fast-paced technology environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with data subject access request processing and data mapping exercises. Support data protection impact assessments for new products and features. Research data protection regulations across Bolt's operating markets. Help maintain Bolt's records of processing activities and privacy documentation. Draft internal guidance documents on data protection best practices.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in law studies at a recognized university. Interest in data protection, privacy, or technology law. Basic knowledge of GDPR. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Fluent in English; Estonian is a plus.
Compensation
€1,100 - €1,500/year
