Eligibility: OTM students (4th year or above) or graduates with a technical background. Students combining law and engineering/technology studies are especially encouraged to apply.
Nokia is offering a Legal Internship in our Intellectual Property team at our Espoo headquarters. You will gain experience in patent law, technology licensing, and IP portfolio management at one of the world's most innovative technology companies.
This internship provides a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of law and technology, with exposure to proceedings before the Market Court (Markkinaoikeus) and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH).
Responsibilities
Support the IP team with patent analysis and portfolio management tasks. Conduct research on patent law and technology licensing issues. Assist with preparation of filings for the Market Court (Markkinaoikeus) and PRH. Draft summaries of patent landscapes and freedom-to-operate analyses. Participate in IP team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
OTM student (4th year or above) or graduate; technical degree or coursework is a strong advantage. Interest in intellectual property and technology law. Basic knowledge of Finnish and European patent law. Fluent in English; Finnish is an advantage.
