Legal Intern — Litigation & ADR at Katende Ssempebwa & Company Advocates
KATS, Uganda's largest law firm since 1969, offers internship opportunities for aspiring advocates. The Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution internship provides hands-on experience in court practice, arbitration proceedings, and mediation at Uganda's number one ranked firm.
Program Details

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of pleadings and court documents
- Attend court hearings and arbitration sessions
- Conduct legal research on case law and statutory provisions
- Assist in preparation of witness statements and trial bundles
- Draft correspondence and legal memoranda
- Organize case files and maintain filing systems
Requirements
- Current LLB student (final year) or recent graduate pursuing LDC diploma
- Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Good academic standing
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Compensation
USh600,000 - USh1,000,000/month
