Legal Intern — Oil & Gas Practice

D'Empaire Reyna Abogados is offering a legal internship in its Oil, Gas & Energy practice in Caracas. This internship provides hands-on exposure to energy law, petroleum contracts, and regulatory matters in one of Venezuela's leading energy law firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Research Venezuelan energy legislation including the Organic Hydrocarbons Law and related regulations
• Assist with drafting contract summaries and due diligence memoranda for energy transactions
• Attend client meetings and internal training sessions on oil and gas law
• Prepare legal research memoranda on comparative energy regulation in Latin America
• Support the team with document review and case file management

• Support associates on energy law research and drafting
• Attend firm training and professional development sessions
• Maintain organised case files and research databases
• Participate in the firm's pro bono programme

• Currently enrolled in final two years of law school (Derecho) at a Venezuelan university
• Strong academic record with interest in energy, natural resources, or regulatory law
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
