Wise is offering a Legal Internship on our Regulatory Affairs team in Tallinn. You will gain firsthand experience in fintech regulation at a global technology company with an Estonian banking license.
Working alongside experienced lawyers, you will research regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, assist with compliance monitoring, and contribute to Wise's engagement with Finantsinspektsioon and other financial regulators. This is a unique opportunity to experience the intersection of technology and financial regulation.
Responsibilities
Research regulatory requirements for Wise's products across European markets. Monitor legislative developments in EU financial regulation (PSD3, MiCA, DORA). Assist with regulatory correspondence and submission preparation. Draft internal legal summaries and compliance updates. Support the legal team with contract review and project management.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in law studies at a recognized university. Strong interest in fintech, financial regulation, or technology law. Basic understanding of GDPR and financial services regulation. Excellent English language skills (written and oral). Estonian language skills are an advantage.
Compensation
€1,100 - €1,500/year
