Internship Description
Herzog Fox & Neeman invites applications for its prestigious staj (legal internship/articles) program in the Corporate & M&A department at the Azrieli Center in Tel Aviv. The staj at Herzog is widely regarded as one of the most competitive and rewarding in Israel, providing exposure to Start-Up Nation's landmark technology transactions.
What You Will Do
- Assist on M&A transactions including due diligence, document preparation, and closing procedures under Israeli Companies Law 5759-1999
- Support venture capital financing rounds and startup investment documentation
- Draft corporate resolutions, shareholder consents, and Companies Registrar filings
- Conduct legal research on Israeli corporate law, securities law, and international transaction structures
- Attend client meetings and transaction closings alongside senior associates and partners
- Participate in firm training programs, mentoring sessions, and professional development workshops
About the Staj Program
The staj at Herzog is a 12-month mandatory internship required for admission to the Israel Bar Association (Lishkat Orkhei HaDin). Herzog's program is structured to provide meaningful hands-on experience across practice areas. Top-performing staj participants are regularly offered associate positions upon Bar admission.

Requirements
- LLB from a recognized Israeli law faculty (Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, Reichman University/IDC, or Haifa University)
- Strong academic record with particular strength in corporate law, commercial law, and contracts
- Fluent Hebrew and English with strong legal writing skills
- Genuine interest in high-tech M&A, venture capital, and the Israeli startup ecosystem
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment
- Must be eligible for staj registration with the Israel Bar Association
Compensation
₪6,000 - ₪9,000/year
