Job Description
OTP Bank is seeking a Legal Officer for its Debrecen regional centre to handle legal matters related to retail banking products, consumer lending, and branch operations in eastern Hungary.
Responsibilities
Review and draft retail banking documentation including loan agreements and mortgage contracts. Advise branch staff on consumer protection and regulatory compliance matters. Handle customer complaints involving legal issues. Support debt recovery proceedings and enforce security interests. Ensure documentation complies with MNB consumer protection guidelines.
Requirements
Hungarian law degree with 1-3 years of experience in banking or commercial law. Knowledge of Hungarian consumer protection regulations and retail banking legislation. Familiarity with mortgage and consumer loan documentation. Good communication skills. Fluent in Hungarian; English proficiency preferred.
