Position Overview
Internship Description
The Copperbelt University School of Law in Kitwe offers research internships for LLB students interested in academic legal research, law reform analysis and community legal education. This is an excellent opportunity to build research skills while contributing to legal scholarship in Zambia.
Duration: 3 months
Stipend: Unpaid
Eligibility: 3rd or 4th year LLB students at CBU or other recognised universities
Start: January or June intake

Responsibilities
- Assist faculty with legal research projects and publications
- Compile case law summaries and statutory analysis
- Support community legal education clinics in Kitwe
- Prepare research papers for submission to law journals
Requirements
- Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year LLB at a recognised Zambian university
- Strong research and academic writing skills
- Interest in law reform, constitutional law or commercial law research
Compensation
ZMW8,000 - ZMW15,000/year
