As a trainee, you will assist case handlers with merger assessments, cartel investigations, and market studies, gaining invaluable insight into how the Konkurrenceloven is enforced in practice.
What You Will Do
- Assist with merger notification review and competitive analysis
- Research competition law issues under the Konkurrenceloven and EU rules
- Draft case summaries and research memoranda
- Support market studies and sector inquiries
- Attend Competition Council (Konkurrencerådet) meetings as observer
Responsibilities
- Support competition investigators on active cases
- Conduct legal and economic research
- Draft case summaries and advisory notes
- Attend internal case team meetings
- Complete assigned research projects
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently completed cand.jur. at a Danish university
- Interest in competition law, EU law, or economic regulation
- Fluent in Danish and English
- Danish or EU citizenship (public sector requirement)
- Strong analytical and writing skills
Compensation
kr16,000 - kr19,000/year
