About the Internship

Lambadarios Law Firm is offering a maritime law internship (askisi) at our Piraeus office. This is a unique opportunity to train in maritime and shipping law at a firm located in the heart of the world's largest shipowning community. Ideal for law graduates seeking to specialize in naftiko dikaio (maritime law).

Responsibilities

  • Research maritime law issues including charterparty disputes, P&I claims, and vessel arrest procedures
  • Assist with drafting maritime contracts and legal correspondence
  • Attend court hearings at Piraeus courts and observe arbitration proceedings
  • Help maintain maritime law databases and case file management
  • Participate in client meetings with shipping companies and P&I clubs

Requirements

  • Law degree from a recognized Greek university
  • Enrolled in askisi at Dikigoritikos Syllogos Piraeus or Athens
  • Strong interest in maritime law and the shipping industry
  • Good English skills; knowledge of maritime terminology preferred
  • Available for the full 12-month askisi period
