About the Internship
Lambadarios Law Firm is offering a maritime law internship (askisi) at our Piraeus office. This is a unique opportunity to train in maritime and shipping law at a firm located in the heart of the world's largest shipowning community. Ideal for law graduates seeking to specialize in naftiko dikaio (maritime law).
Responsibilities
- Research maritime law issues including charterparty disputes, P&I claims, and vessel arrest procedures
- Assist with drafting maritime contracts and legal correspondence
- Attend court hearings at Piraeus courts and observe arbitration proceedings
- Help maintain maritime law databases and case file management
- Participate in client meetings with shipping companies and P&I clubs
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognized Greek university
- Enrolled in askisi at Dikigoritikos Syllogos Piraeus or Athens
- Strong interest in maritime law and the shipping industry
- Good English skills; knowledge of maritime terminology preferred
- Available for the full 12-month askisi period
