NYSC Associate — Dispute Resolution (Lagos)

Aluko & Oyebode invites applications from recent law graduates completing their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year to join the Dispute Resolution practice group. The NYSC Associate Programme provides hands-on experience in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution across the firm’s Lagos office.

NYSC Associates are mentored by experienced Senior Associates and Partners, gaining exposure to high-profile commercial disputes in Nigerian courts and international arbitration tribunals.

• Conducting legal research and preparing case memoranda
• Assisting with drafting court processes and arbitration submissions
• Attending court proceedings alongside senior lawyers
• Reviewing and analysing case files and relevant legislation
• Supporting the team on pro bono matters

• LL.B from a recognised Nigerian university (minimum Second Class Upper)
• B.L. from the Nigerian Law School
• Currently serving or about to commence NYSC
• Strong research, writing and advocacy skills
• Keen interest in litigation and dispute resolution
