Banco Pichincha offers a pre-professional internship in its Legal Department at the Cuenca branch. Interns will gain exposure to in-house legal practice at Ecuador's largest private bank, supporting the team on credit recovery, contract review, and banking advisory matters in the Azuay region.

Cuenca is a key market for Banco Pichincha's retail and SME operations, and this internship provides a strong foundation for a career in banking law or in-house corporate practice.

• Assisting with review of banking contracts, loan documentation, and security agreements
• Supporting the credit recovery team with case file management and court filings
• Conducting legal research on Superintendencia de Bancos regulations and circulars
• Helping organise legal department files and case management records
• Attending internal legal training sessions and compliance workshops

• Currently enrolled in the final 2 years of Derecho at a university in southern Ecuador (Universidad de Cuenca, Universidad del Azuay, or equivalent)
• Interest in banking law, financial regulation, or corporate advisory
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
• Based in Cuenca or willing to relocate
