Pupillage in Corporate & Commercial Law — Chryssafinis & Polyviou LLC, Nicosia
Chryssafinis & Polyviou LLC is offering a Pupillage (Ασκούμενος / Trainee Advocate) position in its Corporate & Commercial Law department in Nicosia. As an Ασκούμενος, you will complete the mandatory 12-month pupillage required by the Cyprus Bar Association for admission as a Dikigoros, gaining hands-on experience in corporate transactions, company formations, and commercial contracts under Companies Law Cap. 113.

Responsibilities
- Assist with company formations, articles of association drafting, and Registrar of Companies filings
- Conduct legal research on Companies Law Cap. 113, Contract Law Cap. 149, and EU corporate directives
- Assist with M&A due diligence, document review, and checklist preparation
- Draft board resolutions, shareholder minutes, and corporate governance documents
- Attend client meetings and court hearings under the supervision of a qualified Dikigoros
- Prepare for the Cyprus Bar Examinations while gaining practical training
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised university (Cyprus, UK, Greece, or equivalent)
- Eligible to register as an Ασκούμενος with the Cyprus Bar Association
- Strong academic record in corporate law, commercial law, and EU law
- Interest in M&A, company formations, and international corporate structuring
- Fluent Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and research skills

€800 - €1,000/year
