Plesner, headquartered on Amerika Plads in Copenhagen's harbour area, is seeking an Advokat for its top-ranked Real Estate and Construction practice. Copenhagen's property market is booming, driven by large-scale developments in Nordhavn, Carlsberg Byen, Sydhavn, and the Ørestad district. Plesner advises Denmark's largest pension funds, developers, and institutional investors on these landmark projects.

You will handle real estate transactions, construction disputes, and development projects across Copenhagen and Denmark, navigating Danish property law, the Danish Planning Act (Planloven), and Danish lease legislation (Lejeloven and Erhvervslejeloven).

What You Will Do

• Advise on major real estate acquisitions and dispositions across Copenhagen and Denmark
• Structure Danish real estate investment vehicles and fund formations
• Handle commercial lease negotiations under the Danish Commercial Lease Act (Erhvervslejeloven)
• Advise on construction law matters, including AB 18/ABT 18 standard conditions and dispute resolution
• Conduct legal due diligence on property portfolios, including title, planning, and environmental reviews
• Advise on planning permissions under the Planloven and local development plans (lokalplaner)

• Advise on real estate transactions from negotiation through registration
• Draft and negotiate commercial lease agreements and construction contracts
• Conduct legal due diligence on property portfolios
• Advise on planning and zoning matters
• Collaborate with the firm's tax and finance teams on transaction structuring

• Danish Bar admission (advokat) or senior advokatfuldmægtig
• Cand.jur. from a Danish university
• 4-7 years of experience in Danish real estate and/or construction law
• Knowledge of the Tinglysningsloven (Registration Act), Lejeloven, Erhvervslejeloven, and Planloven
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Experience with AB 18 construction contracts and dispute resolution
