Century City based premier class action law firm seeking a motivated associate attorney to work remotely or in the office. The firm’s associate position provides a unique opportunity to develop a solid understanding of wage and hour and consumer law and to explore new potential claims areas and theories of liability. The position also provides direct client contact and the opportunity to build client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent work ethic and professionalism, be detail-oriented and highly organized, be able to work independently, and possess strong time-management skills and excellent people skills.
Primary roles/responsibilities will include conducting client interviews, claim-spotting, complaint drafting, and legal research. Prior experience in employment law or consumer protection is preferred, but not required as the firm is willing to train the right candidate. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
