Job Description
A.S & Associates is seeking an Associate for its Banking & Finance practice. The role involves advising local and international banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients on banking regulations, project financing, and structured finance transactions in Bangladesh.
Responsibilities
Advise on banking and finance transactions including syndicated loans, project finance, and securitization. Review and draft loan agreements, security documents, and guarantee instruments. Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank circulars and regulations. Support M&A transactions with financial regulatory aspects. Conduct due diligence on financial institutions.
Requirements
LLB from a recognized university. Enrolled as Advocate with Bangladesh Bar Council. 2-4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Bangladesh Bank regulations and Banking Companies Act 1991. Strong English drafting skills.
