Job Description
Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie (UUBO) is looking for an Associate to join the Capital Markets & Securities practice in Lagos. UUBO has been at the forefront of Nigeria’s capital markets since the 1980s, advising on IPOs, bond issuances, rights issues, private placements and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will work within a team of 86+ lawyers on landmark securities transactions in the Nigerian market.

Responsibilities
- Drafting prospectuses, offer documents and regulatory filings for equity and debt issuances
- Advising issuers and underwriters on SEC and NGX regulatory requirements
- Conducting due diligence on issuers and preparing verification notes
- Liaising with SEC Nigeria, NGX and CSCS on transaction approvals
- Advising on post-listing compliance and continuous disclosure obligations
Requirements
- LL.B and B.L. with admission to the Nigerian Bar
- 2-4 years post-call experience, preferably in capital markets, securities or corporate finance
- Familiarity with SEC Nigeria rules and Nigerian Stock Exchange listing requirements
- Strong drafting skills for prospectuses and offering documents
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Compensation
₦450,000 - ₦650,000/month
