Job Description
Hage-Chahine Law Firm is seeking an Associate for its Family and Inheritance Law practice in Beirut. Lebanon's multi-confessional personal status system requires specialized knowledge of religious court procedures, and this role offers the opportunity to handle complex family law matters across different communal jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in family law proceedings before religious and civil courts. Draft marriage contracts, prenuptial agreements, and inheritance documentation. Advise clients on succession planning under different Lebanese personal status regimes. Handle child custody and guardianship disputes. Advise on cross-border family law matters for Lebanese diaspora clients.
Requirements
Licence en Droit from a recognized Lebanese university. Membership in the Beirut Bar Association. 2-4 years of experience in family law or personal status matters. Familiarity with Lebanese personal status laws across different religious communities. Fluency in Arabic and French required; English preferred.
