Job Description
Widyawan & Partners is seeking an Associate for its Insurance & Reinsurance practice at the Niaga Tower on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, South Jakarta. The firm has been a leading name in insurance law for over 50 years. You will handle insurance coverage disputes, policy drafting, and regulatory advisory for both conventional and sharia insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review insurance and reinsurance policies for Indonesian and international underwriters
- Handle insurance coverage disputes and subrogation claims before Pengadilan Negeri
- Advise on regulatory compliance with UU Perasuransian and OJK insurance regulations
- Represent insurers in marine insurance claims and loss adjustment proceedings
- Advise on product development for sharia-compliant insurance (takaful) products
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised Indonesian university
- Admitted as Advokat by PERADI
- 3-5 years experience in insurance law or insurance litigation
- Knowledge of UU Perasuransian and insurance policy interpretation
- Proficiency in English for international reinsurance transactions
Responsibilities
