Job Description
Badri and Salim El Meouchi Law Firm seeks an Associate specializing in Shipping and Aviation Law for its Beirut practice. BSLA is renowned for its maritime and aviation expertise across the region, and this role offers the chance to work on complex transport and logistics matters.
Responsibilities
Advise shipowners, charterers, airlines, and logistics companies on regulatory and commercial matters. Draft and negotiate charter parties, bills of lading, and aviation contracts. Handle maritime claims and cargo disputes. Assist with vessel and aircraft registration in Lebanon. Research and advise on international maritime and aviation conventions.
Requirements
Licence en Droit or LLM with specialization in maritime or transport law. Membership in the Beirut Bar Association. 3-5 years of experience in shipping, maritime, or aviation law. Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency required. Knowledge of international maritime conventions and Lebanese maritime legislation.
