Job Description

GS-12: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Experience working with a variety of collateral, business types, loan programs (504 and 7A), or general economic conditions; Performing in depth legal research with respect to creditor/debtor rights, collateral liquidation and post loan default collection actions; Performing in depth analysis of obligor's financial statements, tax returns, and earning potential of a variety of a business enterprises, making recommendations for residential and commercial/business loan request of servicing/liquidation actions; AND Experience with bankruptcy laws pertaining to secured and unsecured debts and creditor's rights within bankruptcy proceedings These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume. There is no education substitution for this grade level. Additional information on the qualification requirements is outlined in the OPM Qualifications Standards Handbook of General Schedule Positions. It is available for your review on OPM's Qualifications web site: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on 06/02/2026.
