Job Description

Linklaters' Paris office at 25 rue de Marignan in the 8th arrondissement is seeking an Avocat for its market-leading Finance practice. You will work on major leveraged buyouts, acquisition finance deals, and refinancings for private equity sponsors and leading banks across the French and European markets.

  • Draft and negotiate senior, mezzanine, and unitranche facility agreements under French law
  • Advise on French security packages including nantissements, hypotheques, and fiducies-suretes
  • Structure acquisition finance and refinancing transactions for private equity sponsors
  • Coordinate cross-border security packages with Linklaters' European offices
  • Advise on French regulatory aspects of lending including banking monopoly (monopole bancaire) rules

Requirements

  • Master 2 in Banking/Finance Law or Business Law
  • Barreau de Paris admission
  • 3-6 years PQE in leveraged finance or banking at a leading international firm
  • Fluency in LMA documentation and French security law
  • Bilingual French/English required
