Position Overview
Job Description
Fidal is recruiting an Avocat fiscaliste for its Marseille office, serving the dynamic business community of southern France. Based in France's second-largest city and a major Mediterranean port, you will advise regional businesses on tax planning, compliance, and disputes with the Direction generale des finances publiques (DGFiP).
Key Responsibilities
- Advise SMEs, family offices, and real estate investors on French tax optimization
- Handle tax audits and represent clients before the Tribunal administratif de Marseille
- Structure wealth transfers and succession planning under French tax law
- Advise on VAT, corporate income tax, and local business taxes (CET, CFE, CVAE)
- Work with notaires on tax aspects of real estate transactions in Provence
Requirements
- Master 2 in Tax Law (Droit fiscal) or DJCE from a recognized university
- Admitted to the Barreau de Marseille or Barreau de Paris
- 3-6 years PQE in tax advisory
- Knowledge of the Code general des impots and wealth tax (IFI) rules
- Fluent French; English working proficiency
