During your stage, you will assist the team on UCITS and AIF structuring mandates, CSSF applications, and cross-border fund distribution matters while completing the mandatory 2-year training programme at the Barreau de Luxembourg. Luxembourg's fund industry manages over EUR 5 trillion in assets, offering unparalleled exposure to global fund practice.
What You Will Do
- Assist with drafting fund prospectuses, PPMs, and management regulations
- Support CSSF authorisation applications for UCITS, SIFs, SICARs, and RAIFs
- Research Luxembourg fund law and CSSF regulatory requirements
- Assist with cross-border fund distribution and EU passport notifications
- Draft legal memoranda and regulatory analysis notes
Responsibilities
- Support avocats a la Cour on investment fund mandates
- Draft fund documentation and regulatory submissions
- Conduct legal research on Luxembourg fund law
- Attend client meetings and CSSF hearings
- Complete the mandatory 2-year stage programme at the Barreau de Luxembourg
Requirements
- Master in Law from a recognised European university (Universite du Luxembourg, Paris-Pantheon-Assas, UCLouvain preferred)
- Registered or eligible as avocat stagiaire with the Barreau de Luxembourg
- Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in financial law or fund regulation
- Fluent in English and French; German or Luxembourgish is an advantage
- Prior internship experience at a Luxembourg law firm or fund service provider is desirable
Compensation
€2,500 - €3,500/year
