Job Description
The National Bank of Ethiopia is recruiting a Legal Analyst to support the bank supervision directorate with legal research, regulatory drafting and compliance monitoring of licensed commercial banks and microfinance institutions.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyse banking legislation and prudential standards
- Assist in drafting directives and regulatory guidelines
- Review bank licensing applications and legal documents
- Support enforcement proceedings against non-compliant institutions
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised Ethiopian university
- 0–3 years experience in banking, administrative or public law
- Good analytical and report-writing skills in Amharic and English
