Role Overview

As Saudi Arabia positions itself as a global hub for Islamic finance under Vision 2030, Al Jadaan & Partners is expanding its banking and finance practice. You will work on sukuk issuances, syndicated murabaha facilities, project finance transactions, and regulatory matters with the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the Capital Market Authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on Islamic finance structures including murabaha, ijara, musharaka, and sukuk issuances
  • Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements
  • Advise on SAMA regulatory compliance, banking license requirements, and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations
  • Support project finance transactions for Vision 2030 infrastructure and energy projects
  • Advise on fintech licensing, open banking regulations, and digital payment frameworks
  • Work with Shari'a boards to ensure product compliance with Islamic jurisprudence

Requirements

  • LLB from a recognized university; LLM in banking/finance law or Islamic finance highly preferred
  • 5-10 years of banking and finance law experience
  • Deep knowledge of Islamic finance structures and Shari'a compliance principles
  • Familiarity with SAMA regulations, CMA rules, and Saudi banking law
  • Experience with sukuk issuances or syndicated lending transactions
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
