Internship Description
Iberdrola is offering a 6-month Becario programme in its Legal Department at Plaza Euskadi 5 in Bilbao's Abandoibarra waterfront. Graduates completing their Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía will gain hands-on experience in energy law at a global leader in renewable energy, supporting the legal team on regulatory matters, environmental compliance, and renewable project development across Spain and internationally.

- Research energy regulation: Ley del Sector Eléctrico, CNMC circulars, and EU Clean Energy Package
- Assist with environmental permitting documentation for wind and solar projects under Ley 21/2013
- Support due diligence on renewable energy project acquisitions
- Draft internal memoranda on ESG reporting requirements (CSRD, EU Taxonomy)
- Participate in Iberdrola's graduate development and mentoring programme
Eligibility
- Graduado en Derecho from a recognised university; Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía in progress or completed
- Interest in energy law, environmental law, or ESG
- Good English (B2+); Euskera a plus
- Duration: 6 months, full-time, with possibility of extension
