We achieve this by continuously assessing risks, enhancing our resources, optimising systems, and refining processes. Our team actively champions integrity through robust training, expert guidance, proactive risk management, and thorough investigation of concerns, all aimed at building and maintaining a strong ethical foundation.
Why we're hiring:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Compliance & Ethics professional to join our London-based team, providing critical support across the UK and DACH regions. This role is ideal for someone committed to upholding ethical standards and regulatory compliance, with a proven aptitude for, or experience in:
- Managing ABFAC risks (Anti-Bribery, Fraud, and Corruption).
- Assessing supply chain and cultural risks.
- Building robust control environments and managing records.
- Understanding and supporting whistleblowing processes.
You will be an integral part of WPP’s Business Integrity team, reporting to the Head of Compliance & Ethics EMEA.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring our business integrity programme is understood and adhered to across the UK and DACH regions.
- Providing expert guidance on daily compliance, ethics, and risk queries.
- Proactively identifying risks, root causes, and recommending solutions.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and championing business integrity within WPP.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of vital integrity training programmes.
- Leading investigations into whistleblowing reports and code breaches in your region.
- Collaborating across departments to maintain a robust ethical framework.
What you'll need:
- Foundational Knowledge: Background in legal, compliance, or ethics is valued, or a demonstrated aptitude and passion for the field (relevant certifications/experience considered).
- Proactive Problem-Solver: Ability to identify and solve complex issues, making impactful recommendations.
- Impactful Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Investigative Acumen: Strong investigative abilities, with a focus on confidentiality.
- Organised and Efficient: Proven ability to manage and prioritise varied workloads effectively.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German.
