Job Description
Baker McKenzie Hong Kong is recruiting a Compliance Manager for its Quarry Bay office at One Taikoo Place. You will oversee the firm's internal compliance programme, manage conflicts checks, and ensure adherence to the Law Society of Hong Kong's Solicitors' Practice Rules and anti-money laundering requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the firm's KYC/AML compliance programme under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (Cap. 615)
- Conduct conflicts of interest checks for new matter openings
- Ensure compliance with the Solicitors' Practice Rules and Law Society guidance
- Prepare compliance reports for the firm's management committee
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or compliance professional with ACAMS/ICA certification
- 3-5 years experience in law firm compliance or financial services compliance
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong AML regulations
