Key Responsibilities
- Advise business units on compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), including consent, notification, and data breach management obligations
- Review and negotiate data processing agreements, cross-border data transfer mechanisms, and vendor data protection clauses
- Support DBS's response to PDPC investigations, enforcement actions, and data breach notifications
- Advise on data localisation requirements across DBS's operating markets in ASEAN, Greater China, and India
- Develop internal data protection policies, guidelines, and training materials for business units
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, or qualified in a common law jurisdiction
- 3–5 years of experience in data protection, privacy law, or technology law
- Knowledge of the PDPA, GDPR, and regional data protection laws across ASEAN
- CIPP/A or CIPM certification is preferred
- Experience in financial services or banking data protection is highly valued
Compensation
S$9,000 - S$14,000/year
