Job Description

Castrén & Snellman is looking for a Contract Lawyer to join our team on a project basis in Helsinki. This freelance Lakimies position is ideal for an experienced lawyer seeking flexible work arrangements while handling high-quality legal work.You will be engaged on specific transactions and disputes, providing specialist support to our practice groups. Current project needs include M&A due diligence under the Osakeyhtiölaki, regulatory compliance reviews, and document review for major litigation matters

Responsibilities

Provide legal support on assigned transactions and dispute matters. Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare summary reports. Draft and review contracts and legal documentation. Perform legal research on Finnish and EU law issues. Manage individual project workload and report to supervising partners.

Requirements

OTM degree from a Finnish university. 4-8 years of legal experience in a reputable law firm or in-house role. Expertise in corporate law, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance. Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines. Fluent in Finnish and English.
