Summary of Duties
As a Corrective Active Coordinator, you will:
- Review and analyze abuse and licensing and complaint investigation reports and requests from local offices for violations of state law and for possible corrective action.
- Determine the appropriate type and level of correction action, prepare and implement corrective actions including: civil penalties, license conditions and revocations, etc.
- Research facility history and review program records to determine if a pattern of abuse or non-compliance with policy rules exists within the facility.
- Coordinate and/or make referrals for compliance activities with Long Term Care Ombudsman (LTCO), Board of Nursing, Medicaid Fraud, and other regulated health boards.
Minimum Qualifications
Five years experience doing administrative research that included compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action or decide compliance or eligibility with program guidelines and regulations. Three of the five years must be above the technical support level.
College-level course work may substitute for experience on the basis of 45-quarter units per year, up to a maximum of three years.

Occasionally required to travel in times of poor road conditions and inclement weather.
