- Advise corporate clients on work permit applications, intra-company transfers, and Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs)
- Prepare and file Express Entry applications, Provincial Nominee Program nominations, and spousal sponsorship applications
- Represent clients in immigration hearings before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB)
- Advise on compliance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Temporary Foreign Worker Program
- Handle judicial review applications at the Federal Court of Canada for refused immigration decisions
Requirements
- Called to the Bar in Ontario (LSO member)
- 1-3 years post-call experience in Canadian immigration law
- JD or LLB from a recognized law school
- Familiarity with IRPA, Express Entry, and LMIA processes
- Multilingual abilities an asset
