Job Description
Lakatos, Köves and Partners is looking for an EU and Competition Law Associate to strengthen its market-leading competition practice. The firm handles major merger control proceedings, antitrust investigations, and state aid matters before the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) and the European Commission.

Responsibilities
Prepare merger control filings before the GVH and European Commission. Advise clients on antitrust compliance and dawn raid preparedness. Conduct competition law risk assessments for commercial agreements. Represent clients in cartel investigations and abuse of dominance proceedings. Draft state aid notifications and advise on EU subsidy regulations.
Requirements
Hungarian law degree with 3-5 years of competition law experience. Deep understanding of Hungarian and EU competition law frameworks. Experience with merger filings and antitrust compliance programmes. Strong analytical and research skills. Fluent in Hungarian and English.
