Job Description

The GBS People Services Intern will support the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of employee data throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to termination. This role includes managing personal data,, performing basic administrative tasks, and assisting with process improvements and system testing. The position is ideal for individuals starting their career in HR data management, providing opportunities to develop skills in data management, documentation, and problem-solving.

Your contribution to something big: 

  • Assist in managing employee personal data, including processing and validating data changes;
  • Help ensure all required documentation for personal data changes is collected and processed;
  • Validate and manage required documentation for personal data changes;
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to termination, ensuring all data and documentation are accurately maintained and processed;
  • Complete and timely input and update employee data into the HR System, covering lifecycle events related to employees;
  • Prepare, validate, and manage HR documents such as contracts, certifications, letters, and amendments;
  • Assist in performing data quality checks, identifying and reporting errors, and highlighting data gaps;
  • Participate in system testing activities during HR system upgrades by executing test cases and documenting results;
  • Provide feedback and assist in resolving issues identified during testing;
  • Respond to employees' questions via phone or email, particularly those related to HR data and documentation.

What distinguishes you:

 

  • Education: Currently finished or enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience & Know-How:
    • Proficiency in administrative tasks and software tools is a plus;
    • Solid MS Office tools knowledge (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Personality:
    • Strong customer focus with a results-oriented and quality-driven approach;
    • Well-organized with strong attention to detail;
    • Flexibility in adapting to new tasks and changing processes;
    • Solid collaboration skills and proactive mindset.
  • Languages:
    • Good communication skills in English and French (mandatory);
    • Knowledge of additional foreign languages is considered an advantage.
