Job Description
Job Title: Fiscal Analyst 2Location: Lacey WA

Position Status: This is a permanent position.
In-Training opportunity: This position may be filled at the Fiscal Analyst 2 level or as a 2 in-training at the Fiscal Analyst 1 level depending on qualifications. Candidates hired at the Fiscal Analyst 1 level will be required to successfully complete an in-training program prior to promoting to the goal class of Fiscal Analyst 2.
The Fiscal Analyst 2 supports the agency's mission through coordinating with park staff, Headquarters staff, and customers to ensure accurate and timely revenue distribution. Under supervision of the Revenue Section Manager in Financial Services, this position is responsible for the accurate distributing of all monies deposited in state park field locations and headquarters. This position reconciles returned checks with the bank and the park, analyzes bank deposit reports (BDRs) to actual bank deposits, and corrects any discrepancies.
The Fiscal Analyst 2 also supports the mission through accurate accounting of dollars received from assigned credit card acceptance points; accurate collection, reporting, and payment of sales; and is the back up to the other Fiscal Analyst 2.
This position is not eligible to telework, as physical on-site presence is required to perform essential functions.
