Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Korean legal practice across M&A, dispute resolution, and regulatory advisory
- Develop and maintain relationships with Korean chaebol clients, including Samsung, Hyundai, SK, and LG groups
- Oversee quality of legal services and mentor associates in cross-border transaction skills
- Coordinate with Baker McKenzie's global offices on Korean outbound and inbound investment matters
- Drive business development, pitch presentations, and thought leadership in the Korean legal market
Requirements
- Korean 변호사 licence with 15+ years of experience in a top-tier Korean or international law firm
- Established reputation and portable client relationships in Korean corporate law
- Dual-qualified (Korean bar plus US or England & Wales bar) strongly preferred
- Native-level Korean and English; proven leadership and business development track record
Compensation
₩22,000,000 - ₩35,000,000/year
