Job Description
Bank Audi, one of Lebanon's largest banking groups founded in 1962, is seeking an In-House Legal Counsel for its Legal Department in Beirut. The role involves providing day-to-day legal support across the bank's corporate, retail, and international banking operations.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on banking products, loan documentation, and credit facilities. Draft and review commercial contracts, guarantees, and security agreements. Advise on regulatory compliance with BDL circulars and banking control commission requirements. Support the bank's litigation team on pending cases. Review and approve new banking products for legal compliance.
Requirements
Licence en Droit or LLM from a recognized university. Membership in the Beirut Bar Association preferred. 3-5 years of experience in banking law, commercial law, or in-house legal practice. Strong knowledge of Lebanese banking regulations, commercial code, and contract law. Fluency in Arabic, French, and English.
